A while ago I was flipping through the archives and came across a comic book with some familiar names in the credits. The following panels are from a story that was both written by and penciled by creators who have also written/drawn the Legion. Anybody know who?

ReplyDeleteI don't know, but I'm going to be kicking myself when the artist's name is mentioned, I just know it. That style - especially the left panel - is familiar, but I can't put a name to it...

ReplyDeleteOkay, here's the answer: the story is from Love in Tights #1, published by Slave Labor Graphics. Written by J. Torres (who has done several issues of LSH31C) and penciled by Francis Manapul, his first published work; I think he was in his teens at the time.
