Someone left a complimentary comment here that I can't see now. Anyway, thanks.
Anybody who has ambitions of carving awesome pumpkins just needs to find themselves some pumpkin templates. You can make your jack o'lanterns look great with very little artistic talent. Seriously: you can do what you would swear is a subpar job of carving your pumpkin with a template, and it will look good anyway, and people will tell you that they wished they could be like you. I highly recommend the pumpkin templates.
