Always a Legionnaire
One more thing to say about Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes #24.
It was a little throwaway detail on page 14, but it was something I've been waiting for for a long time.
The context: Supergirl and the Legion have apparently decided that the right thing for her to do is to live in Kandor on Rokyn, forever, instead of remaining with the Legion. But nobody seems happy about this, and at the last minute Cosmic Boy says, 'never mind Rokyn; come back with us'. She accepts joyfully, and Light Lass says:
As far as I can tell, that's the first indication in this series that the characters believe deep down that being a Legionnaire is a special thing, that being a Legionnaire is different from being just anybody. That they're a team. That their rings are more important than their (many, vast) differences.
It's exactly what I wanted, and now I want more like it.

You are funny!
Thank you.
But it just so happens that in this case I'm dead serious.
"Once a Legionnaire, Always a Legionnaire."
So true.
One quote I can pull out of my head at any time.
I like to add "Legion's family" to that, but that's probably just me.
What's that from?
